Wroclaw Global Forum

Wojciech Sadurski, Challis Professor of Jurisprudence, will participate shortly in the inaugural meeting of the Wrocław Global Forum in Wroclaw, Poland.
The first meeting of this annual platform (October 6-8, 2010) will bring together two hundred leading European, American and global policy-makers, business leaders and intellectuals.
The aims of the Forum are to "give new spirit to the transatlantic dialog by refocusing it on global challenges and by reinforcing the voice of Central Europe as its key stakeholder".
The Forum will take place in Wrocław, one of the most dynamic cities in the region of Central Europe.
The 2010 Freedom Awards Ceremony will be held during the Gala Dinner on October 7, marking the 30th Anniversary of the founding of the Solidarity movement. Participants will include Javier Solana, European Union's High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy 1999-2009, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, President of Poland 1995-2005, and James Stavridis, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
