Islamic Trade and Finance Law

Applications are still open for Islamic Trade and Finance Law which takes place on the 21st of March plus through 28th - 31st March 2011.

Taught by Dr Salim Farrar and Dato' Dr Nik Nozrul Thani, from Zaid Ibrahim & Co Kuala Lumpur, the unit examines the application of Islamic law in the modern contexts of business, banking and finance.

Students will acquire an outline of Islamic sources of law, traditional Islamic contract law as well as standard contractual forms.

It is available to study through the following Sydney Law School degree programs:

Candidates can also enrol in the subject on a Legal Professional Development (LPD), Single Unit Enrolment or Cross-Institutional basis.
