2012 Sydney Law School Undergraduate Guide

30 March 2011

The 2012 Sydney Law School Undergraduate Guide is now available to view online or download as a PDF.

This 44 page document outlines exclusive features and admission requirements for the Sydney Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

The Guide includes information on two new initiatives for 2012:

  • The new Bachelor Design in Architecture (BDesArch)/Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • The new Sydney Oxford LLB/JD

Design in Architecture/Law is a new combination available to Combined Law students from 2012 onwards.

Five years in duration, it prepares students for careers in both architeciture and law.

On completion on the program, students can decide whether to enter legal or architectural practice.

To become a registered architect, students would need to complete a further two years of study in the Master of Architeciture (MArch).

The Sydney Oxford LLB/BCL will have its first in take in the second half of 2011.

This unique collaboration will enable students to receive a Sydney LLB as well as a Oxford BCL.

Further details on the Sydney Oxford LLB/BCL will be made available soon.

The Guide also includes details on:

  • Student exchange
  • Social Justice Program
  • Peer Mentoring Program
  • Compulsory & Elective Curriculum
  • Admission, Application and Fees

Domestic applications for the Sydney LLB in 2012 open in August 2010 through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

International students can apply through the University of Sydney International Office.
