Sydney Law School ranked eleventh in the world in the latest QS World University Rankings 2010/2011.

As part of its final QS World University Rankings by Subject release, it revealed the 200 top-ranked universities in the world for the following social sciences disciplines:

• Sociology
• Statistics and Operational Research
• Politics and International Studies
• Law
• Economics and Econometrics
• Accounting and Finance

Sydney Law School was ranked on three primary criteria and its results in each revealed the following:

• Academic - Ranked thirteenth in the world
• Employer - Ranked seventeenth in the world
• Citation - Ranked twenty-ninth in the world
