Selling Human Tissue

23 January 2012

Professor Cameron Stewart says we might need to think about other incentives for improving organ donation rates apart from money.

In an interview for Channel Ten's The Project, Professor Stewart commented on the growth in the illegal trade of vital organs such as kidneys.

"Whilst we might be revolted at the though of people doing this, there's at least 800 people in Australia that are dying right now because they need a kidney."
