Pharmacy-led HMR push to high-risk patients warranted

Lead author, Stephen Carter from the faculty was interviewed for an article inPharmacy News about his survey published in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice.

Pharmacists should focus on promoting HMR services to patients at high-risk of medication misadventures, but who have low awareness of these services.

The surveyfound 68 per cent of pharmacists and 36 per cent of GPs provided awareness of HMRs.

The survey involving 264 pharmacists, found an "overwhelming majority" of recipients were satisīŦed with the services provided.
