Two University of Sydney Pharmacy alumni were among those recognised in Monday's Queen's Birthday Honour List announcement. 
The University of Sydney confirmed its place as an elite teaching and research institution for pharmacy on the international stage, when it ranked 16th in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for pharmacy and pharmacology.
The late Emeritus Professor Ronald A Anderson, former Dean of Science and Head of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney passed away on 3 March, peacefully at his home in Tea Gardens.
