Message from the DVCR: ARC funding

9 November 2012

Congratulations to all who were successful in the latest ARC round of funding.

Sydney was awarded the highest number of Discovery grants nationally as well as featuring highly in the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) and Linkage Infrastructure and Facilities (LIEF) schemes.

Overall the University secured $28,479,694 in Discovery grants across 79 projects; $6,861,299 for DECRA across 19 projects and $2,300,000 for LIEF across 4 projects.

Research was funded across the board, which is a testament to the strength in breadth of Sydney's research.

For a full breakdown of where the funding was distributed across FoR codes, visit the Research Support website.

Again, my congratulations to all. These results will ensure that we continue to be a vibrant centre for disciplinary and cross-disciplinary collaborative research.
