Summer Intern Hosting Opportunities: Science and Engineering Focus

9 October 2013

The International Students Office is currently hosting a cohort of study abroad students from Brazil, who are studying at Sydney for one year on the Science Without Borders scholarship program run by the Brazilian government. These are high achieving students that have experience in research placements from their home universities.

We are calling out for researchers (including PhD candidates) and industry professionals that may be interested in hosting a student for a project over the summer. Student are to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work, which counts as a 6 credit point subject and complements their studies. The work can range from assisting with research and data collection, work experience in industry, or running a small project from start to finish.
