20 September 2013

The NHMRC invites applications for its partnership project grants. These encourage researchers and partner organisations to form alliances to identify and conduct research projects which focus on health and health care policy and practice.

Applications must be joint submissions from a research group and one or more partner organisation. Partner organisations may be working in: federal, state, territory or local government, in the health portfolio or in other areas affecting health such as treasury, urban planning, education or transport; the private sector as employers, private health insurance providers or private hospitals; major non-governmental organisations and charities; community organisations, such as consumer groups; providers and professional groups.

Grants are worth a maximum of AU$1.5 million and projects may last up to five years.
