Emergency Media and Public Affairs Conference 2012 - call for papers
The annual Emergency Media and Public Affairs Conference will be held in Melbourne on 6-8 May 2012. It is attended each year by Australian and NZ emergency and community agency communicators and operations managers, with guests from the US, UK and Canada. The conference is looking for original research in the area of emergency, disaster or crisis communication for presentation in its peer-reviewed research stream. To submit papers Please send a 200 word proposal that also contains name, position and contact details to the EMPA Research and Development Committee, firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, November 25, 2011. Submitters will be notified of their success or otherwise by Monday, December 5, 2011.
