The 'Energy for Breakfast' Seminar Series is organised by the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Foundation, and the Delta Electricity Chair in Sustainable Energy Development, and is sponsored by CIS, Campus Infrastructure Services, University of Sydney

The breakfast will be held from 7.30am - 8.50am so as to allow participants to get to work by 9.00 am.

The presentation will give an overview of the current situation in Europe and cover:
> Renewable Energy Technology - The World Energy Outlook of the International Energy Agency
> The European Research state-of-the-art; new directions, priorities and policies
> The excellence of the Italian industrial and technology competencies in renewable energy
> Cases and examples in Italy and Europe
> Research topics and collaborative schemes (Joint ventures initiatives, Technology Platforms, Integrated Projects)
> Technology transfer and pilot cases
> Large scale demonstration projects
> Some technology hints and possible R&D road maps for future technology collaboration between Italy and Australia; existing tools and collaboration schemes.
