Faculties create central contact point for clinical education issues

10 July 2014

The faculties of Dentistry, Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, Education and Social Work and Pharmacy, along with the School of Psychology and the discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics from the Faculty of Science, have come together to support the establishment of an Office of Clinical Education.

The office will provide support and advice to all health disciplines relating to clinical placements and externally funded health workforce projects.

"The establishment of the office recognises the needs of our external partners, most notably the NSW Ministry of Health, for centralised project and relationship management in the health disciplines of the University," says Dr Sascha Jenkins, Executive Officer/ClinConnect Coordinator.
