Upgrades to Cisco phone software

To ensure our phones are supported and fully functional in the future, ICT will be upgrading the software on Cisco phones across the University from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 May. The upgrade will be conducted progressively, on a building by building basis. During this upgrade your phone will be unavailable for up to 3 minutes.
Your faculty manager will notify you when your phones are scheduled to upgrade.
You do not need to take any action before or during this period. Once your phone upgrades it will automatically log on and you will be able to make calls as usual. If you are in a call during the scheduled outage, your call will not be disrupted. Your phone will automatically reboot after you end the call.
