New outbound anti-spam system

To improve the University's anti-spam system, the service that checks outbound email for spam will be changed to an external service provided by Symantec.

From Monday 18 February, the new system will help protect users and reduce the risk of the University's reputation being compromised through distribution of spam.  As the system uses different technology to detect spam, there is a small chance legitimate outbound email could get blocked. If this does happen, please contact the ICT Helpdesk on 9351 6000 for assistance.
