'Inactive plugin' error for Mac users using the CMS

Do you work closely with the University's content management system (CMS)?

Have you had difficulty performing the following tasks in the CMS?

  • Importing any type of files, such as images, pdfs, etc
  • Editing any hard-coded pages, such as your homepage
  • Downloading any files.

This is probably due to the latest Mac Operating System (OS) patch blocking your browser's Java plug-in, which runs these features in the CMS.
