The Weekly Times has reported that Professor Paul McGreevy and Professor Claire Wade, Faculty of Veterinary Science, are conducting a world-first research project that will attempt to map the renowned abilities of Australia's working dogs.

"We will begin by establishing how much working dogs are doing for Australian livestock producers," said Prof Paul McGreevy, of the University of Sydney's faculty of Veterinary Science.

Prof McGreevy, a specialist in veterinary behavioural medicine, is co-ordinating the three-year research program with animal geneticist Prof Claire Wade.
