Before you start, you need to be aware of the general information available to pre-registration students on all aspects of clinical placements.

Students are required to complete 48 credit points and obtain a credit average in Year 1 to remain in the combined degree program and progress to the nursing subjects in Year 2.

You are required to wear a University of Sydney uniform on clinical placements. These are available from the online store.

Clinical placement hours

Your degree contains both theoretical and clinical components. Each subject with a clinical component has a set number of clinical hours, regardless of whether you are studying full time or part time. You are required to do a set number of weeks in each semester. The full-time number of weeks is:
