Before you start, you need to be aware of the general information available to pre-registration students on all aspects of clinical placements.
You must complete all clinical placements before continuing into the second year of Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) program.
You are required to wear a University of Sydney uniform on clinical placements. These are available from the online store.
Nursing practice clinical options
You can choose one of four clinical placement options for final year Master of Nursing students:
- Paediatrics
- Mental Health
- High Acuity
- Clinical Nursing
For these options you will undertake 4 weeks of clinical placement in your chosen area. You might like to choose an option in which you may wish to practise when you graduate.
