A randomised double-blind placebo-controlled trial of cardiovascular risk reduction during bereavement (CARBER II)
This study is based on findings from the initial CARBER study that identified physiological changes associated with cardiovascular risk in early bereavement. The study proposes to build on the findings by evaluating an intervention to reduce cardiovascular risk. The benefit of the research is that we may obtain clues to reduction of cardiovascular risk during bereavement.
