Examining the relationship between community nurses and Chinese cancer patients in Sydney
This qualitative study seeks to understand how, when and why Chinese-Australian cancer patients are experiencing regular visits from community nurses in Sydney, and to determine the relationship between these visits and self-care requirements and physical and psychosocial distress.
It is a collaborative between this Faculty, Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service and Central Sydney Community Nursing. It will contribute to improved service delivery for cancer patients and further knowledge of the cancer experiences of ethnic groups in Australia.
