Use of chlorhexidine as a topical antiseptic for the prevention of nosocomial infection in premature neonates <29 weeks: A randomised controlled trial
This double blinded, randomised controlled trial aims to find the concentration of aqueous chlorhexidine that is safe and effective for use as a topical antiseptic in the extremely preterm infant. The trial commenced in April 2005 at RPA Newborn Care and data collection will be completed in 2009.
