Australian College of Critical Care Nurses

Education Grant

The ACCCN Education Fund supports educational conference and seminar attendance. Grants are available to a maximum of $800.

Funds are available to members with more than 12 months' immediate, continuous membership. Grants are not available for retrospective funding or for course fees. Grants are offered in two rounds each year, with approximate closing dates early March and late August.

Nursing Review Paper Prize

Best Nursing Review Paper Prize, Best Nursing Review Paper Prize sponsored by Edwards Lifesciences. The award for the Best Nursing Review Paper is designed to acknowledge an outstanding contribution to the specialty of critical care nursing through a substantive and rigorous review of the literature.

Research Grants

ACCCN are offering the following research grants in 2010 (total national grant funds for 2010 is $50,000):

  • ACCCN Experienced Researcher Grant $20,000
  • ACCCN Novice Researcher Grants (3 at $5000 each) Total novice grant fund$15,000
  • New Systemative Review Grant of $15,000
Mike Cowdroy Education Grant for Rural Nurses

This education grant of up to $2000 is available to rural intensive care registered nurses to assist with attendance to the ANZICS/ACCCN Annual Scientific Meeting or other critical care conference or course.
