Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Australia
JDRF offers a wide variety of grants and fellowships to qualified researchers. JDRF is committed to spending approximately $100 million in 2010 to support research relevant to our mission of finding a cure for diabetes and its complications.
Travel grants
JDRF invites applications from early-stage researchers for grants of up to $2000 for domestic travel or $4000 for international travel to research institutions or scientific meetings, for the purpose of furthering the researcher's expertise in the study of type 1 diabetes.
Innovative Award
The committee seeks to identify two outstanding researchers with demonstrated innovation in a high impact research study relevant to type 1 diabetes, with a particular emphasis on research outcomes published or patented in the 2009 calendar year.
