Nurses and Midwives Night Work Study
Thank you for your interest in the study!
What is the study about?
This study is investigating the night work patterns of registered nurses/midwives, enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing and midwifery working in the NSW public health system. We are asking participants to contribute information about their individual work pattern over several years so that we can develop a state-wide picture of how night work has been experienced by nurses working in NSW.
This study has been commissioned by the NSW Department of Health together with the NSW Nurses' Association as a consequence of a directive from the Industrial Relations Commission. It is being conducted by independent researchers from Sydney Nursing School at the University of Sydney. Participation in the study is voluntary and all data will be collected anonymously.
