Biographical details

I am a registered nurse in Australia and Hong Kong. My clinical expertise is predominately in chronic and geriatric nursing care. I have worked in a Vietnamese refugee camp, geriatric unit and in intensive aged care in Hong Kong. I have also taught at the Department of Nursing Studies, University of Hong Kong. Since 1999, I worked in a number of hospitals in Sydney and then joined the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery in 2006.

I have a passion for promoting preventive health among the Chinese community in Australia. I have conducted several health promotion programs for Australian Chinese Radio (2AC) (from 2006 to 2009) and other Chinese organisations to promote preventive health care for older Chinese migrants.
