Biographical details

Jacqueline Fong is a Lecturer and Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Co-Ordinator at Sydney Nursing School as well the Course Coordinator of the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) course. Jacqueline has over 17 years of nursing experience practiced in specialties such as travel medicine, cardiology and has specialist qualifications in emergency nursing, with a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner). Jacqueline is an endorsed nurse practitioner, currently practicing clinically in private practice. Jacqueline is a member of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners and has been previously a member of the conference organising a committee for Emergency Nurse Practitioner Education. She is passionate about Nurse Practitioner education and takes a lead role in organising education amongst her colleagues and education days in within the area health service. Jacqui has a keen interest in travel medicine and Obstetrics and gynaecology with a research interest in nurse practitioner prescribing practice.
