Biographical details

I am a Nurse Practitioner with 18 years experience in cancer nursing, working clinically at the Sydney Cancer Centre, RPAH in Gynaecological Oncology. I have held several senior nursing roles. I initiated and led the first nurse-led Gynaecological Oncology Aftercare and Follow Up Clinic in Australia, to provide comprehensive post-surgical and ongoing follow up care to women with a gynaecological cancer. I am involved in nursing research and my current interests include patient experience and satisfaction with fast track surgery and quality of life for women with vulval cancer. I am a member of the Cancer Nursing Academic Unit, a consortium of Sydney Nursing School and the Sydney Cancer Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Current projects

I am involved in several studies and I am currently leading a project relating to Fast Track Surgery in Gynaecological Oncology–Patient Experience and Satisfaction and a project investigating Vulval Cancer and quality of life.
