Do you have questions?
If you would like to find out more about studying at the University of Sydney, please contact us on 1300 362 006 or ask a question online.

What Open Day is about – in six easy steps

Step 1: Get one-on-one advice

Do you have questions about admissions, courses or other aspects of studying at the University of Sydney? Talk to our faculty representatives, career experts and admissions advisers at the information booths in the Quadrangle. Between them, they can answer all your questions. Look at the detailed maps to find out where to get the answers you need.

Step 2: Take in a lecture, or three

We’re running a program of mini-lectures all day, covering many different aspects of the University. Look them up, choose the ones that interest you, and add them to your plan for the day.

Step 3: Send your parents to a seminar

If your parents or guardians are coming along to Open Day, they might want to catch the Parents’ Seminar at 11.30am in the New Law Building Annex – Auditorium 101. They’ll get some really useful information about how they can best support you during your time at university.

Step 4: See the sights

All through Open Day we run regular tours of the campus, faculty buildings, museums and residential colleges. Find the ones that interest you, and don’t forget to check out the other hands-on activities at University Place by the Quadrangle.

Step 5: Soak up the atmosphere

There is food, music and entertainment by current students in several locations across campus. Relax, hang out with friends – or make new ones – and get a glimpse into your life as a Sydney student!

Step 6: Sort out your accommodation options

If you’re planning to move out of home when you start studying, talk to our Accommodation Information Services team at stall 15, as well as current students at the other Quadrangle stalls.
