The Quadrangle all day
University is a lot more than just lectures. From building racing cars to performing on stage and travelling around the world come along and find out what our students get up to inside and outside the classroom.
Throughout the day there will be performances at the Quadrangle front lawn.

Sydney Marketing Society (SMS)
SMS is a vibrant, not-for-profit student society based that seeks to connect talented young marketers with leading employers in the marketing sectors. They run a diverse set of events such as careers fairs, mentoring programs, expert lectures, case competitions, skills workshops, drinks, trivia nights and cruises.
SUTEKH: The Sydney University Pop Culture and Roleplaying Society
SUTEKH is Sydney Uni's pop culture and gaming society. Our diverse range of activities cover board games, role-playing games, collectable card games, war games, computer and video games as well as fantasy and science fiction books, comics, shows and movies!
180 Degrees Consulting
180 Degrees Consulting provides students with the opportunity to work on consulting projects with non-profit organisations. Working in teams, their consultants spend the semester researching and preparing quality recommendations to help organisations create a positive social impact.
Sydney University Anime Society (SUAnime)
Yokoso (welcome) to SUAnime, Sydney Uni's anime and manga society! Feel free to share your love for otaku culture, whether it be art, photo, discussion about series old and new. Have fun with weekly screening socials, art socials, BBQs, karaoke & eat-outs, trivia nights, Christmas party and much more.
Financial Management Association of Australia (FMAA)
FMAA is the largest professionally focused student organisation in Australia. The group actively promotes the career awareness of students and facilitates involvement in business-related activities, and their portfolio of over 40 corporate sponsors spans across financial services, professional services and management consulting.
Sydney University Jazz Society (JazzSoc)
The Sydney University Jazz Society is the club for anyone interested in any aspect of jazz-related music. We offer performance opportunities to our members, including our flagship jazz orchestra, SOUL (Sounds of University Life). We also have regular events on campus, often featuring free drinks for members. From Bebop to Funk, this is THE club for all that jazz.
Period Drama Society (Darcy Soc)
Darcy Soc aims to foster an appreciation of the settings, costumes, characters and stories of period dramas with activities such as Devonshire teas, champagne brunches, bake sales, book clubs and high tea. If you have an interest in literature, BBC film adaptations, or simply like drinking tea, you will feel comfortable and welcome at a Darcy Soc event.
Sydney University Society of Creative Anachronism
The Sydney University Society for Creative Anachronism are a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, whose members recreate aspects of pre-sixteenth-century life for their own and others instruction and entertainment.
They practice brewing, sewing, fencing, archery, armoured combat, dancing and various crafts; and put them into effect at feasts, tournaments and costumed camping events.
Sydney University Wind Orchestra (SUWO)
SUWO is an award-winning symphonic band that performs a wide repertoire, from classics to popular music and jazz.
The band is very active both socially and musically, with weekly rehearsals, end-of-semester concerts and regular social events, including post-rehearsal dinners and the annual winter camp and summer tour. The band also competes in the State championships and offers band members the opportunity to perform small ensemble and solo pieces at an additional Showcase concert every year.
The University of Sydney Chocolate Society
Chocsoc is group of people with a genuine fetish and love for chocolate, and who are passionate about spreading this love to others. To express their affection for the goodness of chocolates, Chocsoc organises many fun and interactive social events with the aim of bringing more people into the chocolate family.
Korean Cultural Appreciation Society
The Korean Cultural Appreciation Society is the infinite paradise for everyone to share the love for all things Korean, and anything Korean, from way back in history to the 2NE1st century.
University Spanish and Latin American Society (SUSLAS)
The Sydney University Spanish and Latin American Society is a student-run society, funded by the USU, dedicated to a better understanding of Spain, Latin America and the Spanish language in its many forms.
Sydney University Quidditch Society (SUQS)
SUQS is the University's first and only Harry Potter-related social sporting society. They offer students opportunities to train and play Quidditch at both the intra- and inter-varsity level, and you can get to know like-minded students over casual drinks, viewings and tournaments. Over the past year alone, they’ve been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and on Channel 7’s Sunrise, and had incredible amounts of fun along the way.
Sydney University Liberal Club
Established in 1933, the Sydney University Liberal Club (SULC) is the oldest and largest Liberal Club in Australia. The Club hosts the annual John Howard Debating Cup, an intervarsity debating competition, in honour of the Club Patron, the Honourable John Howard OM AC. A strong alumni engages with the Club and includes John Howard, Tony Abbott, Joe Hockey, Malcolm Turnbull, Bronwyn Bishop, and Philip Ruddock. The Club releases a biannual magazine, Libertas, a quarterly magazine, Mon Droit, engages in student election campaigns, hosts public debates, social drinks, and pub crawls.
The University of Sydney Food Co-operative is a volunteer run organisation which sells cheap, healthy, organic and locally sourced food to students and members of the community.
University of Sydney ALP Club
The Sydney University ALP Club is the official Labor Students and Young Labor chapter on campus. The club is made up of supporters of the Labor movement and the Party. The club's aims are to promote the principles of the Australian Labor Party and Social Democracy. We engage in student election campaigns, hold social drinks, pub crawls, guest speaker events with Senior Party and policy debates.
USYD 3D Printing Club
Heard about 3D printing? Curious about how 3D printing works? Eager to print your own 3D design? USYD 3D Printing Club can make all your dream come true. USYD 3D Printing Club is aiming to offer 3D design services and 3D model printing services for University of Sydney students. Besides this, we are offering free design tutoring services for our members. This is the place that you can learn, make and even create!
SURG FM The Sydney University Radio Group
SURG FM is the student run radio station at the University of Sydney. All of their shows and content and are made exclusively by and for students.
Sydney University Recreational Circus Arts Society (SURCAS)
SURCAS cater for performers of all levels, including beginners, and they aim to provide training and experience in circus skills so that their members are able to perform to a professional standard. SURCAS is always keen for new members!
