Under the direction of Professor Stephen Simpson, the Charles Perkins Centre brings together world-class academics from across all 16 University of Sydney faculties and from around the world in diverse areas of focus including agriculture, architecture, business, biomedical sciences, physics and psychology to share their knowledge, expertise and passion.
The Charles Perkins Centre is a community of academic and professional staff dedicated to finding real world solutions for the global epidemics of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and their related conditions.
The centre is managed by an Executive Committee, which comprises of our centre leadership and research leadership teams. Our research leadership team is made up of a group of domain leaders and theme leaders.
Staff from numerous faculties across the University are involved with the centre as academic members and their activities are coordinated by the research leadership team.
