The Charles Perkins Centre is committed to providing postgraduates with the opportunity to engage in innovative learning and collaborative engagement across the breadth of our disciplinary focus. We have developed a new, interdisciplinary masters program in Health Technology Innovation and in the coming year will be exploring opportunities for new approaches in Nutrition and Urban Design.

We have a large community of early-mid career researchers, including Honours students, who provide a range of education opportunities and we also offer short courses that can provide a taster for further formal courses at the postgraduate level.

The Health Technology Innovation Master of Health Technology Innovation is a new professional degree designed to equip those from science, technology, engineering or medical backgrounds with the skills to apply advanced technologies to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

Developed with support from industry and taught by leaders in medicine and technology, this program will provide graduates with a unique skill set allowing them to bridge the gap between the technical and clinical arenas. It will involve working with a group of professionals and clinicians to develop creative technology-based solutions to real healthcare issues.

The degree will allow you to broaden your career and take advantage of exciting opportunities in the emerging health technology sector.

To accommodate your professional commitments, the Master of Health Technology Innovation offers flexible study options. Units of study can be completed in block/intensive mode, during the evening, online or through a combination of options. Some subjects will also be offered as short courses throughout the year.

The Master of Health Technology Innovation is a two year full time program (or part-time equivalent).

The Master of Health Technology Innovation is a two-year program. Depending on the level and type of your previous studies, you may be eligible for up to 48 credit points (2 semesters of equivalent full-time study) of recognised prior learning, reducing the length of your degree.

Graduate Certificate or Bachelor's degree (Pass) in either a health or technology related discipline

Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's degree (Honours) in either a health or technology related discipline

Bachelor's degree(s) (Honours) in both health and technology related disciplines or A Research or Coursework Master's degree in either a health or Technology discipline
