Our building

A new hub for research and teaching

This $385 million purpose-built facility was supported by the federal government through its Education Investment Fund and provides state-of-the-art facilities and technology for more than 1500 undergraduate students, 900 researchers, and higher degree by research students.

Located on the north-west boundary of the University’s Camperdown Campus, bordering St John's College and in close proximity to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), the hub will also spearhead a vibrant research and education precinct that has links to nearby affiliated medical research institutes and hospitals.

While this building is our centralised headquarters, it is the hub to a Charles Perkins Centre network that extends far more broadly than that, moving beyond metropolitan Sydney to sites across regional and rural Australia.
