Entry requirements for pharmacy interns
To be eligible to enrol in the Intern Training Program (ie/ Applied Pharmacy Practice I & II), interns pharmacists must:
- comply with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 sections 62 and 63
- provide a final academic transcript of a Bachelor Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy degree (If your course has not yet been finalised please submit your current transcript with your application then provide the student centre with your final transcript for attachment to your existing application document as soon as it is available. Current University of Sydney students will not need to attach their transcript. Results will be available automatically upon completion of their degree).
- prior to commencement of the course arrange for a Pharmacy Board of Australia approved workplace and supervising preceptor in order to facilitate completion of the requisite 1,824 hours of practical pharmacy workplace training.
Entry requirements for registered pharmacists
For registered pharmacists to be eligible to enrol in the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice, applicants must hold existing pharmacist practitioner registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. You will need to provide evidence of your existing pharmacist practitioner registration with AHPRA at the time of application.
A current provisional pharmacist and/or full pharmacist practitioner registration is required to maintain candidature in the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice. Please refer to the
