The Master of Pharmacy course provides an alternative mode of entry into the pharmacy profession for applicants with a previous university degree. The course is open to both local and international students.
There are a set number of Comonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available and the remainder are full fee-paying places (local and international). The average intake for this course is 50, with the final numbers set annually.
On completion of this degree, and following a compulsory pre-registration training period that is required for all candidates, graduates will be eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and able to practise as a pharmacist.
The Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice provides graduates with the additional training, experience and education required for professional registration, thus enabling them to become leading practitioners in any area of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
