Entry Requirements
Entry to the Bachelor of Pharmacy is competitive. The standard entry required is:
HSC Students and Recent School leavers
The ATAR required for entry varies from year to year. The cut off in recent years has been between 85 and 93. The ATAR for 2013 entry was 90.05.
Tertiary Record Holders
Very good tertiary record in at least one year of full-time tertiary study (or part-time equivalent). These studies normally need to be part of a recognised award course of at least associate diploma level or higher for your results to be considered. See details regarding previous tertiary study.
Assumed Knowledge: Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics
To study in the Bachelor of Pharmacy, you are expected to have knowledge of these subject areas.
These subjects are not compulsory pre-requisites for the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree but if you have not previously studied these subjects we recommend for you to enrol in bridging courses at the University of Sydney before the commencement of the academic year.
