Early Offer Year 12 (E12)

The E12 scheme supports NSW HSC students who are from a financially disadvantaged background and/or are attending a government identified 'low socioeconomic' high school. Students enrolled through the E12 scheme receive an early conditional offer of a place ) before HSC exams begin), on-campus benefits and some financial support. The Faculty offers E12 places for the Bachelor of Pharmacy, subject to eligibility criteria.

For full information about Early Offer Year 12, eligibility and applications, please visit the E12 website.

Flexible Entry

Flexible Entry is a system that allows school leavers to be considered for a place in their chosen degree on the basis of their ATAR (or equivalent) in combination with other specified selection criteria.

Students whose ATAR (or equivalent) is slightly below the ATAR cut-off may still be offered a place based on excellent performance in relevant HSC subjects. The Faculty will generally consider students who have an ATAR up to five ATAR points below the published cut-off in that year.

We recognise the academic rigour of HSC English, science and mathematics subjects and our Flexible Entry Scheme identifies students who have achieved excellent results in these subjects. If you’re not sure if this applies to you, it is worth keeping this course in your preference list as you will be automatically considered for Flexible Entry. Please note that Flexible Entry is only available to Year 12 school leavers.

Band 4 and above in HSC English (2 unit or above) AND Chemistry
Band 4 and above in at least ONE of Mathematics (2 unit, not General) OR Physics

No application is required as the Faculty of Pharmacy automatically reviews the performance of all UAC candidates in relevant HSC subjects.

Students who have experienced long-term educational disadvantage may apply to the Broadway Scheme, which falls under the banner of the University of Sydney's Educational Access Scheme (EAS) coordinated by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

The scheme is mainly intended for current-year Australian Year 12 students who expect to receive an ATAR (or equivalent). More than 600 Broadway Scheme places are awarded to eligible applicants each year.
