E-Toll tag
Departmental Pool Vehicles (DPV) and Tool of Trade (TOT) vehicles will be provided with University supplied E-Toll tag passes for road toll when required. This does not apply to vehicles that form part of an employee's salary package where the E-Toll tag is arranged personally if required.
An E-Toll tag account is owned and centrally managed by Fleet Management.
Conditions of E-Toll tag use
- To request the fixture of an E-Toll tag to a new vehicle, the request must be recorded on the University external requisition form and signed by the Departmental manager or delegated officer.
- To fit E-Toll tags to existing DPV & TOT vehicles, the Departmental manager must provide written authorisation.
- E-Toll tags are not transferrable and shall be assigned to one vehicle only. This is identified by the motor vehicle registration number.
- University supplied E-Toll tags are for business use only, and shall be monitored by Fleet Management.
- Drivers operating vehicles without a University provided E-Toll tag, are responsible for paying all applicable road tolls.
- Infringements borne from road toll evasion shall be transferred to the driver.
