The actual driver of the University vehicle shall be personally liable for all traffic infringements, speed camera violations, red-light camera violations, parking infringements, tow-away charges, toll charges, etc. which may be levied on any University vehicle whilst it is under their control.
All such infringements will be transferred out of the University's name into the infringement person's name via the statutory declaration requirements from the State Debt Recovery Office within the timeframe provision.
Assigned driver/custodians shall ensure that adequate records are maintained to identify any other drivers responsible for infringements incurred. This information must be disclosed to Fleet Management when required to process infringement statutory declarations, otherwise the nominated driver/custodian shall be liable to pay all such charges, fines and penalties.
Fleet Management will be responsible for facilitating all infringement processing requirements.
When requested, the assigned driver/custodian must ensure a completed Driver Licence Details Form is forwarded to the University's infringement processing Department by the actual person responsible at the time of the infringement.
