Code of Conduct
The University's Code of Conduct (53KB PDF) provides guidance on acceptable standards of behaviour. It is designed to help you make the right choices and decisions if faced with issues of ethical conduct during the course of your employment.
The Code applies to all University academic and general staff, casuals and contractors. By accepting employment with the University, you agree to comply with the Code of Conduct (53KB PDF).
The Code is designed to complement the responsibilities of academic freedom.
Contractors
Contractors are also bound by the Code of Conduct (53KB PDF). They will be expected to:
- provide the services in a careful, diligent, proper and efficient manner in accordance with the highest professional standards, principles and practices applicable to the services
- comply with University's Code of Conduct, Code of Conduct for Responsible Research Practice, by-laws, rules and policies, including those with respect to:
- occupational health and safety
- discrimination and harassment

- use of University equipment or facilities.
