Application of Social Network Analysis on Projects
In this talk, I discuss the nature of current approaches and methodology for understanding stakeholder engagement in project management. I then propose the use of theories from social networks and the analysis of networks as a valuable perspective to visualising, analysing and understanding stakeholder engagement. I argue that network theories and methodology provide a useful framework in addition to the current frameworks for understanding stakeholder engagement.
