The research we do

The research we do makes a real difference, reaching beyond our campus to bring tangible benefits to the wider community: both locally and internationally.

Our research spans all areas of human endeavor and its success is the result of the unflagging curiosity and energy of our researchers and students.

Why join us?

We encourage our researchers to collaborate across disciplines on complex, real-world issues such as healthy living, climate change, China studies and the effects of globalisation.

Our researchers are provided with world-class support and large-scale investment. As well as excelling in your chosen field, we want you to develop skills in research leadership and management, commercialisation and communication and cross-disciplinary capabilities.

Our research is characterised by its breadth and depth. Visit our faculties and schools’ websites to find out more.
