The ARC Linkage Projects Scheme: how it works
The Australian Research Council’s (ARC) Linkage Projects Scheme helps to foster strategic partnerships between organisations and universities to solve specific problems, create new knowledge and develop long-term mutually beneficial collaborations.
Partner organisations can apply with us for funding from the ARC to supplement their own cash and in-kind contributions.
The ARC provides:
- support for pure basic research through to applied research
- between $50,000 and $300,000 per annum.
Recent Sydney Linkage success
- In 2011, Linkage Projects involving Sydney researchers received $6.7 million in Round 1 and $2.5million in Round 2.
