Adolescent Sexual Behaviours
Summary
We are looking to supervise students who have honours or a masters degree in the Social Science (Psychology or Sociology) or Health Sciences, to undertake research studies leading to a PhD with the Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health

Synopsis
The research aims to use qualitative methods to:
- Understand Australian adolescents' sexual behaviours
- Understand how Australian adolescents conceptualise sexual activity and rationalise sexual behaviour choices
- Explore adolescent relationships and relationship dynamics
Additional Information
Applicants should have some experience or understanding in social research methods including focus groups and interviews. A background in psychology/social sciences or medicine/health would be desirable
Applicants will be based at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and expected to apply for postgraduate research scholarships. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
