In this project the student will seek to develop better platinum-based anticancer drugs

In undertaking this project the student change select one from the following range of specialised platinum-drug projects:

  • Synthesis of new trinuclear platinum drugs
  • Analysis of the drug-DNA interactions and mode of binding of multinuclear drugs
  • Crystal polymorphism of platinum drugs
  • Development of drug co-crystals
  • Nanoparticle-based delivery of platinum drugs

Additional Information

International students must already have in place a government funded studentship/scholarship that comes with bench fees or intend to apply for such a studentship/scholarship
