Synopsis

Social networks are now used to model a great number of socio-technical problems. For example, tracing money laundering activity via the network of who-knows-who has become an essential part of law enforcement. Effective use of social network models depends on new computer based methods to collect data, fuse the data, induce networks, analyse the networks, and communicate the results to humans. In this project we aim to develop new efficient and effective algorithms to discover, analyse, and view social networks.
