Research Location

Architecture & Allied Arts, at the Faculty of Architecture, Design & Planning

Program Type

Masters/PHD

Synopsis

While the intersection of film and architecture is undeniably rich and well trod with respect to analyses of their symbolic and aesthetic interaction, there is also an exciting and increasingly accessible potential for filmic techniques to enrich the physicality both of the design process and the built architecture. There are growing possibilities for recasting the schematic architectural design process and modes of concept presentation.
