Exploration geochemistry for Australian massive sulphide deposits

Ongoing studies of Australian massive sulfide deposits require Honours and Postgraduate students

Dr Derek Wyman

Research Location

School of Geosciences

Program Type

The proposed research would advance the application of modern geochemical techniques in the exploration of base metal massive deposits in Australia. The project will refine traditional pathfinder geochemical techniques while also establishing the geochemical signatures of key magmatic events associated with mineralisation and the application of local– to regional–scale chemostratigraphic studies.
