About Dr Diana Oakes

My current area of research is exploring the mechanism by which some drugs and chemicals cause birth defects.

Dr Diana Oakes has been involved in Toxicology research since the late 90s Diana's research interests focus on investigating the potential of occupational chemical exposures to cause adverse damage to DNA (genotoxicity) and also the mechanisms by which some drugs cause birth defects (teratology).
