I have expertise in the fields of economic, political and medical sociology.

My research interests include: sociology of biomedicine; economic sociology and financialization; new theories of labour; neoliberalism and transformations of the welfare state; neoliberalism and new political conservatisms; critical race and gender studies.

Current Research

My current research explores the relationship between debt crisis, economic austerity and the rise of far-right political movements in an international framework.
